Commercial Exploitation of Food Irradiation Technology in Pakistan - Potentials, Oppurtunities, and Challanges
PAEC is organizing the Two Days International Workshop in collaboration with IAEA at PCSIR Laboratories Complex, Lahore, Pakistan from 2-3 Oct, 2013. In addition to PAEC Organizations like Nuclear Institute for Food & Agriculture (NIFA), Al-Technique Corporation Pakistan Ltd (ATCOP), Islamabad & IAEA, the other collaborative organizations inculde Pakistan Society of Food Scientists & Technologists (PSFST) and Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (PCSIR).

IAEA BoG
Pakistan has been elected unopposed, as Governor to the IAEA BoG for the term 2012-2014. The BoG meeting was held on 24th September, 2012 in which eleven new Governors were elected to this BoG and Pakistan was unanimously elected on MESA region seat for a period of two years.
