    Globally, nuclear energy is well understood as a reliable and environment friendly source of energy. Besides above attributes, nuclear energy is vital for a reliable supply of energy in Pakistan by reducing energy import dependence.

    PAEC is committed to contribute in achieving desired reliability for the country’s energy supply system. In this regard, the commission is pursuing the implementation of a nuclear power plan, devised in the country’s Energy Security Plan-2005.
